version 8.0.24 is buggy. Most of the time, when the focus changes from remote window to Mac and then back, the connection is lost with socket error. I would like to downgrade but apparently it is not possible

Got connections working again after re-install. Issues I didn’t have with the older 2.x version: Can’t seem to turn off alert sounds. Can’t get it to auto-connect to remote machine by-passing or automatically submitting the password

Like Mario Grgic reported, I’m seeing the same issue where about 20px of a Windows Server 2008 R2 connection is being cut off at the top of the screen (the bottom of the screen is about 20px higher, as in the whole display has been slid up). If I completely log off the connection and re-connection, it works fine, but if I just disconnect and reconnect the session, it happens again. This is new to this version - please fix it. :(

using 8.0.26 it worked fine, updated last night to 8.0.27 and now I cannot connect and im locked out of my work system,. unbeliveabley frustrating!! Makes me wonder if I have to buy a PC as I work remotely as this app has contstant problems update after update. Id give it 0 stars if I could

I downloaded the latest update and now there is a question mark through the icon and it will not open.

Remoting into Windows 7 Enterprise on Mac OS X Mavericks 10.9.5 (27’’ iMac non-retina) in full screen (Resolution: Native) always cuts off about 40px from top of the screen (and you cannot scroll the remote destop view to show it). But if you exit full screen and immediately enter it again the view fixes itself and shows the entire remote screen (nothing is cut off). Note that if you don’t use “Native” resolution in the connection settings, but manually specify native screen resolution 2560x1440 everything works as expected. So it looks like the application does not correctly detect vertical native resolution. This is a regression introduced in 8.0.27 and also present in 8.0.28 as well.

The recent update does NOT work. Please fix this issue ...

Software updated automatically and now it doesn’t work at all. Logon Failed whenever I try to connect. Please fix this bug urgently.

When will a fix be released - as RDP is no longer available and shows up as a quesiton mark… Please either go back to the previous version or get a correction out immediately…. This is crazy.

Nice app but can’t connect to Windows 10 clients. Need to be updated, Win10 must be supported… We’re in 2016 :)

This definitely gets the job done for connecting into servers, workstations, etc. so I have no real complains in that department. Would be ideal if MS could tie into iCloud (or maybe their own Azure-based backend) to sync your connections, gateways, etc between all your devices though. I don’t even care if if passwords don’t sync and I need to manually enter/save credentials on each device upon first connection, but having my full list of connections seamlessly available everywhere (iOS too!) would be superb!

MS RDP still performs very well, however, for me, this version seems to have regressed with respect to using the Shift key when I start a Remote Desktop Connection from a host which I’m using the OS X Screen Sharing app to reach (My Mac -> Screen Sharing to another Mac -> Remote Desktop to Windows Host). When using the on-screen keyboard, I can see that the Shift key press is coming through, but when I press, say, the ‘4’ key to get the ‘$’ symbol, it seems like it is too much to handle and the Shift gets dropped when I press the ‘4’ key. I should add that I am able to write ‘$’ on the ‘other Mac’ when not in the RD window. However, if I replace Screen Sharing with VNC viewer, I don’t get this issue. Also, this didn’t seem to be a problem for the version I had prior to 8.0.30 (probably 8.0.29). I also seem to recall this being a recurring problem with past versions of RD. One version fixing it, then the next breaking it, then it gets fixed again. So, I am assuming the blame here lies more on RD.

It doesn’t work right in the full-screen mode only when another display is connected to my macbook

Mac OS X 10.9.1 で初めてRemote Desktop Connection for Macを使ったところ、 ターゲットWindows 2012 R2 でなぜか全く動作しませんでした。 Windows 7, 8　のリモートデスクトップ接続では直につながりましたので、Mac でのアクセスはあきらめて、Windows を使っていました。 App Store で Microsoft Remote Desktopを見つけて直に試したら一発でつながりました。 困った方はとりあえず、こちらで試してみてはいかがでしょうか？

ドラッグ＆ドロップで受け渡しは出来ないのはしかたないけど、ローカルフォルダをマウントして ファイル転送出来るのは便利 でもやはり、日本語入力が問題。Caps Lockキーで漢字カナきりかえが出来るけど、不便すぎる。 キーマッピングは自分でカスタマイズ出来るようにしてほしい。 version 8.0.5にアップデートしたけど、やはり日本語入力は変わらず不便。 Please improve this application for multilanguage environments.

As with the old RDC 2.1.x client bundled with MS Office for Mac, performance of RDP is absolutely outstanding. Access to remote desktops, even on the other side of the country, is snappy and exhibits extremely low latency. The responsiveness of a remote connection makes administering remote systems a pleasure. Kudos to Microsoft for this. On the downside, the connections in the main window cannot be sorted. As well, one cannot change the connections view, e.g., small/med. icons vs. details view. I administer around 20 desktops and its annoying that the main window presents the connections in order of entry. Having to search for a connection is bothersome when Id rather just scroll through an alphabetically-sorted list. Its 2014; surely, they can do a better UI than this. It would also be useful to be able to create a default template, as was the case with the old RDC 2.1.x client, from which to base all new connections. The obvious workaround is to duplicate an existing connection and edit it to suit the new requirements, but …. Finally, the inability to import RDC 2.x RDP connections is a monumental oversight. The lack of a migration path from RDC to the new MS Remote Desktop client is surprising and disappointing. I want to give this 4 stars, but the annoyances are enough that I cant. The RDP connections FAR outperform Apples Remote Desktop/VNC connections, but the UI needs a lot of work. Edited to add: The version 8.0.5 application constantly crashes when logging out of servers. Apparently, there were not enough bug fixes in the release. Im sorely tempted to drop my rating to two stars. Its just not good enough. :( 2014-07-31: Version 8.0.8 now adds incredible CPU load and constant crashes when logging out of servers. I have downgraded this to 2 stars in light of the constant issues with this software. Incredibly disappointing, considering that I use this junk daily in the course of administering Windows servers.

MBAir 11” Early 2014 、英語キーボード環境にて使用。 アプリの使用感は問題ないですが、〜（チルダ）が打てない状況です。 IME の on/off をキーボードショートカットで出来ないので無茶苦茶不便です。 早期改善をお願いしたいです。

mac側がひらがな入力状態だとwindows側の日本語入力がおかしなことになります。 IMEのON/OFFもききません。
