Wont allow me to connect anymore

using 8.0.26 it worked fine, updated last night to 8.0.27 and now I cannot connect and im locked out of my work system,. unbeliveabley frustrating!!
Makes me wonder if I have to buy a PC as I work remotely as this app has contstant problems update after update. Id give it 0 stars if I could
